Yes - the link above is to the Finnish website. But it says new so perhaps it hasn't made it overseas yet. That's why I was wondering if anyone had seen or shot one. I like the fact that it looks so modern and anti-tactical yet seems like it would be a tough, accurate and potentially long range rifle.

Next question - I read that Tikka T3 is a long action so I'm wondering whether 6.5x55 would be a better option than .260 in such a rifle.

The Tikkas are great rifles and an excellent value for the money. The 6.5x55 is offered by Tikka but unfortunately that calibre seems currently unavailable.

I have the Swede in the T3.
Blue and wood. 8" twist if memory serves me right.
Inch or less 3 shot groups(my reloads) unless I mess up.

Very pleasent and satisfying in appearence, operatation(mild recoil,
very good trigger), and accuracy.
I have zero negatives about my Sako Tikka T3.

The 6.5x55 is my round of choice, even though
it has been around since 1894.

But, I do have a couple of rifles chambered in that new fangled
Thirty ought six round.

Regards,
Old 112

I also have a Tikka 6.5x55, it is the pride of my collection, not the most expensive, but my favorite without a doubt. SCARY accurate, perfect egronomics, featherweight, mild manners, and kills deer quicker then a 18 wheeler at 85mph. Adding the 6.5x55s ballistic twin the 260 would be a good move to attract buyers.

I'll certainly be looking :) Very impressed with Tikka. One (not this model) will be in my safe before next year is over - prolly in 308, but I might get convinced into something else :)
