Hi,

I just adjusted the trigger on my Tikka T3 Varmint. (Boy that was easy!) While it's certainly lighter now, I noticed that I could have continued turning the trigger adjustment screw. I didn't - it's where (I think) I want it, but does anyone know how far the screw can be turned, and does that bring the trigger under the 2lb limit cited by Tikka in the manual?

Thanks,

Bear

If memory serves, when you turn the adjusting screw to lighten the pull weight you can only go so far then the screw head will touch up against another bolt (the action screw?). I don't have my T3 handy at this time but I'm pretty sure they designed the trigger adjustment screw so you can only so far and that will put you at the 2 lbs pull weight.

Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't go down all the way then, because I could still turn it. I must have gone around at least one and half times and the trigger does seem lighter.

it will stop when you reach the max, adjustment, fool prof for sure.I have one also.i ran the screw down untill it stoped turning
