The first 2 in the previous post are HelmickArms and the last 2 are Wild Dog (they make carbon fiber composites similar to Manners). The 3 on this post are Robertson composites + a camo 6.5x55 T3 I bought recently, used.

Pimp Your Tikka

For those guys who can't live with the plastic, you can purchase replacement aluminum bolt shrouds from HSS (you can get them on Ebay right now) and Roedale Pecision makes bottom metal/trigger guard that accepts the original Tikka magazines (they say they're coming out with metal mags in the near future). This stuff is ridiculously expensive though:cuss:

I'll have to handle a few tikka's first then I'll decide. I have handled a couple CZ's but not the american stock yet. I have plenty of time to decide which one as I have an 06 to get first. Any experience on which twist would be best between the 1-9 and the 1-8"?

The faster 1-8" twist is better if you want to shoot the longer bullets from 140 to 160 grain. I only have experience with the Tikka and it is extremely accurate with a variety of 140's (Berger hunting VLD and SGK's). I've read reports of the 1-9" CZ shooting 140's well though.
