Found this little Russian commercial model (Baikal) Makarov at the LGS and couldn't turn it down.

Pistol has original box, plus holster, cleaning rod, lanyard, takedown tool, extra mag, and paperwork. Best of all, it appears to never have been fired. :)

This will go nicely with my other 8 Makarovs in the collection.

Nice! I bought one around that time period, and it came just like that. It has been a great shooter for me.

I have one just like that in .380. But, it only came in the Kraft box. Bought it new when they first came out. Still new. Still in the box.

I've got other .380's to shoot. It was kind of neat and unusual.

I believe the model number is IJ-70. The adjustable sight was added so it could be legally imported into the U.S. It features a small, narrow front sight which is hard to see.

A best buy coming into the country are Bulgarian Makarovs. They are in original condition with fixed rear sight. Only $20.00 more they are in near mint condition with extra magazine, holster and other extras.

That's exactly the one my wife bought as her first gun (and still her favorite).

I had to get a Mak, too, after shooting hers. Bulgarian for me.

Very nice! I can remember picking up a number of surplus Walther P38 and P1 pistols packaged the same way with a military issue holster and a spare magazine.

The double stack mags are very hard to find and expensive. It is a well made pistol and I really like mine. I just wish I could find a few more mags for it at a decent price.

I picked up an identical pack last summer for a steal. Only 50 round fired, looked brand new and it came with a full box of Fiocchi. Sadly that is still the only ammo I've run through the gun.
