Too late

Keep your eye out for guns made of Unobtainium. That's the stuff.

You are 30 years too late. Mark Donohue and Porsche scooped up all available stock for racing program.

I have a S&W 332 with a titanium cylinder. The rest of the gun is aluminum. It weighs 14 oz loaded and cost me ~$650 in '01 IIRC. They have discontinued it and now make a 432 instead. Virtually the same gun but a steel cylinder instead of titanium. It weighs a couple ounces more but only cost ~$450. The problem S&W had was the titanium cylinder made the thing cost more than people wanted to pay so it did not sell well. Personally, I love the little gun. It sits in my pocket always and I hardly know it's there. I chose the .32 H&R mag because the lightweight .357 was just too damn painful to shoot. Besides, I get 6 shots with the .32. :D

titanium doesnt conduct heat well correct (which is why you can run a motorcycle with a ti exhaust for hours, shut it off and lick it:rolleyes: )? So wouldnt it be beneficial to have a ti barrel so it wont heat up as fast, therefore being more accurate longer

???

Titanium and Scandium are old hat, yesterday's news.

I heard Smith and Wesson were coming out with a new "Ub" series carry revolver that doubles as a survival gun...since it floats on water. :D
