TN deer hunting laws

    Does TN have a law limiting magazine capacity for rifles while hunting?

    In other words, can I use an M1 Garand for deer hunting considering that I can't limit the mag/clip capacity? I know I could load only five rounds but the mag/clip capacity is still eight.

    I checked the on-line regs, too. Couldn't find limits to rifle capacity.

    My next step is to call a game warden, but they probably aren't open right now.

    So, here I am.

    Fly320s - If it does turn out to be a problem, there are ways of modifying a standard M-1 clip to limit the number of rounds. Here's just one web-page showing a potential modification:
