I would like to buy my first 1911 full size 45...Would like to spend $800.00-1200.00. Questions: I like the feel of the alloy frames, is this good or bad ? I would like an acc rail. will be for general shooting but want a depenable gun, for carry in my truck at times. I am sure you get asked this all the time but I would like to avoid trial and error as much as possible, so what should I look for Brand, model etc. Thanks for your input !!!
