to re-size or NOT to re-size

Well after reading this thread my head hurts. All these years I thought new brass was sized from the factory more along with using a small base die. I have always FL sized and trimmed new brass thinking I was just tidying up the neck. I have never owned any expensive brass so it may not even matter. We do have a treasure here on this forum however and are fortunate to have such a source of knowledge.

I'm currently prepping some new cases for a couple of new rifles for my next prairie dog adventure. They are getting full length resizing. But, I am reforming the case as well. 6.8 SPC to 22x6.8 and 6mm BR to 22 BR.:)

Generally, I do run new rifle cases through a full length sizing die primarily to properly size the necks and eliminate any dents in the necks from handling and shipping. Also, I trim them.
