About four years ago it listed online for approx. .50/rd. Well-stored in original beige 'C.I.A. P.O.F' . etc 32-rds. cartons, in sealed ammo cans. 900 rds. The occ. hang-fires were very short and hard to notice.

Naturally somebody will quote a low-ball figure. Good luck.

Seldom using any of my Enfields these days, I will Not offer it on Armslist TN until cross-checking prices as with cross-checks of instruments and clearances etc at work (retire in four weeks in ATL!).

Meaningless to me.
I wouldn't buy it.
I really enjoy shooting my Mk4#1, but I can easily load match grade ammo for less than hang-fire milsurp. I can load castbullets for 1/3 cost of jacketed.
For plinking up to 100yds, the cast is superior in all aspects.

Check Grafs.com
They have some milsurp ball ammo for sale. Canadian mfg. $0.77rd. BERDAN PRIMED.
Also note they have PPU new in boxer primed cases (very good brass) for $.79rd. Good ammo. My source for brass.
This may give you an approximation of going prices.

"...Canadian mfg. $0.77rd. BERDAN PRIMED..." Isn't CF milsurp. CF hasn't used any .303 ball for over 30 years now. You'll note Graf's picture shows POF ammo too. However, DA ammo, if you can get it, is fabulous stuff. Had some 1944 vintage ammo issued to us in about 1981. Made the IVI crap we got later look really sad.
Anyway, nobody really wants POF ammo. Isn't reliable. Midway wants $99.99 for 250 rounds in an ammo can.
