Well I've been researching a new carry gun for the last couple of weeks, and was convinced I wanted a Kahr PM9 for pocket carry. I headed out to my local shop today to pick one up, and was quite disappointed when I was told there was about a 10 week wait to get one.
I had some other possibilities in mind, XDsc, G26, etc, but a Springfield EMP caught my eye. Well they only had it in .40, and I was in search of a 9mm. So I branched out my search from the Springfield case to the Kimber case, and I was no longer able to stop myself. After a little browsing and handling, I had a 1911 itch that I just had to scratch. So this ended up following me home today.
Kimber Custom Ultra CDP II. I'm on the smaller side, but I think it is thin enough that I shouldn't have a problem concealing it, summer excluded. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm hoping to find some time for that next weekend.
Now that the gun is taken care of, any good recommendations on magazines or an IWB holster?
