Or say screw it and carry a Colt Defender. Not that much difference unless you are a small framed fellow. I carried my Para-P13 alloy, for about a year, and it was nice to know I had 14 rounds of 45. The muzzle is what gets in the way most of the time, but if you carry with a holster that sits up high and a shirt over it your ok, I am in FL also. I would wear it out at night. A Defender or Agent, is absolutely doable, maybe not all the time, but most of the time. I just like 45's. Call me old fashioned. My XDS was working for 2 years as both inside and pocket carry in a remora, and it at least had 6 rounds of 45.When I had the Shield and was switching back and forth, a vendor I was friends asked me what the heck are you carrying that Shield for when the XDS is the same size and a 45. That was the last time I carried the Shield. It isn't that small, and mine in 40 was not as reliable. The dam XDS was perfect, never had an ftf or malfunction of any kind, still haven't sent mine in.
We got our Identity hacked last week and is has been a nightmare, credit cards bank accounts they even had our drivers licenses, and account numbers. So I am literally afraid to send anything any ware until this gets cleared up, be careful out there guys, a friend who in vice president of security for Sun Trust bank, said a lot of this is coming from Wall-mart. They are the most lax in outdated security and have refused to comply with the new security techniques, not to hijack the thread but check your accounts every week. There was 1 charge to Wall-mart, for 20,000 dollars, in Nebraska, we live in Florida, the guy put himself on all our accounts.
