Too thin for a shoulder holster?

I'm thinking of picking up a shoulder holster that holds the weapon horizontally and has tie downs on the off side for two mags. Here's my question: I'm relatively thin--will the firearm show through the back?

I'd be carrying a 1911 commander size.

(I'm not as thin as Skunky, though).:D

Most horizontal holsters have adjustible straps, so if it is visible from the rear, you can angle it downward slightly. Should solve the problem.

back when i weighed 133 lbs and was 6 ft i used to carry a S&W 39 in a shoulder holster in a way and a place and among people that would have resulted in me getting in a lot of trouble, i had no problem.

I'm 6'1" and weigh 175. Except for my beer gut, I'm very skinny. Without it I'd be about 160.

Anyway, I have the rig adjusted so that the muzzle is angled up slightly. I tried muzzle angled down a bit, but then the butt of the pistol stuck out too much in front.

It takes a lot of playing around to get just the way you want it but, once you're there, you're done.
