I took my 10/22 to the range today and was thoroughly pleased with it.
Here is a picture of my first target.
I was shooting velocitors for this group and there is 20 rounds in it. This was the first group I shot so I had yet to adjust anything. I adjusted the elevation to where it needs to be but it still shoots a little to the left so I figured I would just drift the rear sight to the right a bit.
On another note I also took my Marlin 925m with me to try out a new scope and here is a picture of my target at 25 yards. The group could be better but this was my first time trying to sight it in and I wasnt shooting from a rest either. There are two seperate groups on the target with 9 shots in each group. Dont pay attention to the other holes on the paper, they were from other things I was shooting.
The group circled in red was shot using Hornady 30gr v-max with 4 shots being circled in dark red. The group circled in blue was shot with 45gr dynapoints. I shot both rounds to the same poa while not adjusting my scope to see what the difference in poi would be, which was less than I expected but it would probably be more significant at longer ranges. I shot it at 50 yards with the v-max and I was still holding right around 1.5 ", which is pretty good for me.
