She has been carrying an LC9 for almost 5 months now (that she picked out), and lately has been complaining about the long take up and reset of the factory trigger. I considered ordering the parts from Galloway Precision to shorten it up a bit, but thought I would let her examine some other models and see if anything jumped out at her.
After showing her several guns I thought she might like, (M&P9c, PM9, SR9c, etc.) she still had not found one worth swapping her LC9 for. in a last ditch effort, I took her over to the 1911 case, and had her handle an EMP in 9mm. She fell in love immediately. She especially loved the trigger, as she should after shooting the LC9 for so long. I think I am more excited than she is. The LGS had one in stock with 3 mags, and factory NS for 1187 +tax. Seemed a little high to me, so I plan to order one from my favorite online retailer tomorrow. I can't wait to see her face when she gets to shoot it for the first time. Just thought I'd share here.
