I'd likely opt for an XD or M&P over a Glock. Where does the M&P fit into your rating system among the three brands? Do you have an opinion on XD vs XDm?
I've never shot an M&P so I can't comment. Nor have I shot a XDm.

I do 2000+ gun transfers a year, the great majority from Gunbroker. Less than ten were Sig 938's.According to GunBroker, via an article posted by The Motley Fool, the Top 5 Selling Handguns of 2016 are; http://www.fool.com/investing/2016/11/26/the-5-best-selling-handguns-of-2016.aspx
No real surprises here but ......#4 - Sig 938....

The Sig 938 outselling the Glock 19?
Interesting. I have no LCP but I have carried its predecessor, the Kel-Tec P3AT, for over 11 years. Also in my Carry Rotation are a 3.3"XDs.45 that I have had for 3+ years and a G19Gen4 that I have had for 2+ years.#1 - S&W Shield. ...
#2 - Ruger LCP. ...
#3 - Springfield XDs. ..
#4 - Sig 938. ..
#5 - Glock 19. ...
Glock waited way too long to release both the G42 and the G43. By then people already had their preferences. I'm a dyed in the wool Glock guy and I already preferred the Walther PPS for a single stack.I would have assumed that Glock would have made the list with the G43 G42 or one of the sub-compacts.
The G19 just doesn't fit the trend laid out in 1-4.
