Well the show that some love and some hate is back on with a brand new season. I myself am glad to see this show come back on as I enjoy watching it. I do though disagree with how they chose teams this season by picking those that failed the first challenge for one team and the winners on another but it was fun to watch them shoot the .500 S&W.

It's interesting to see the show evolve the way it has. Season 1 the teams were already picked, or drawn for. Season 2, teams were picked by the two top shooters, which led to some interesting matchups. Season 3 picked by a win/lose competition right off the bat. Now one team is always going to be viewed as the underdog.

I also like how each team has equal pairs, instead of a random groups. Should be interesting. And I'm already looking forward to next week's challenge with the AK-74.

Pretty good so far. Really hasn't been any time to pick who I like yet. The cute girl is gone already so that sucks. That elimination challenge had to have been brutal. There's a reason most stage guards in the old west carried shotguns and we saw why today.

Did they get anybody from THR?
I know that some of the people from the program were/are on here and put out a call every time they are casting

I do believe they are using AK 47s next episode that just have a 74 brake on but I could be wrong. Its what they called it as I remember.

I have never fired any handgun chambered for the 500S&W magnum. So I am asking you guys.

Were the loads they were firing on the show full-powered loads as far as you could tell?

I asked myself the same question, Lizzie, and my guess would be that they were not full loads. I'm saying this because I fired that .500 (in the above picture) one time, and watched three other guys shoot it too.....and it was a frickin handful to hang on to. The guy in the picture was the owner, and I took that pic during his first (which was actually a double shot, cuz the first one kicked so much it made him pull the trigger again. By accident). He was only about 160 lbs, but the next two guys that took a turn with it were both very experienced shooters and well over 200 lbs. And THEY could barely control that thing. Somewhere I have a pic of the shell casings....maybe someone can I.D. the exact ammo he used......

the blonde chick is worthless and the red head guy is annoying as hell....i hope they go home soon

The red head also seemed to pride himself on being the best when all hes done is really just trap shooting.
