Top Shot (Season 4)

Augie was the last to shoot. He shot Gary's target saying he wanted to see them shoot it out to see who went against him.
That is what he said, but I think it was actually a knock on Kyle for his belief in protecting the Red team members

My wife thinks that he is always trying to go to elimination, just so that he can win and get the bass pro gift card. I don't know one way or the other, but I'm rooting for Augie now that Kyle is gone.

I can't imagine Greg (or any other shooter) would have enough self confidence to risk a chance at $100,000 for the sake of a $2000 gift card.

He said it was for his entertainment (and it was my favorite line of the season :D); which means that yes, it was a knock on Kyle.

I am glad that Kyle went home, the only one that I would have rather seen gone was Greg. Gary surprised me when he beat Chee two weeks ago, but he has shown recently that he is not just a reenactor - he can shoot a little too.

Gabby and Greg were the only ones I knew of. Gabby was invited because she did the best as a woman shooter so far, Greg, had dropped a few hints on Facebook and to a few of the people at the NRA show. Who knows....just what I am betting.

My favorite line was in reference to Greg's muzzle loader pistol ball rolling out leaving him "half-cocked and de-balled." Had a good laugh at that one in the pirate episode.

That was another great one....my brother and I still laugh about it

The finale was great...it was amazingly close...and then to be decided on the final shot...Oh My God

Both shooters left it all on the line

Spoiler Alert if you haven't seen it yet

Congrats Chris Cheng, way to go...score one for IT geeks

Have not seen it yet (refuse to pay for cable when I can get it free the next day online), but... I had to know. I am very happy Chris won, he was my pick from the beginning. We computer geeks can shoot too:D.

Sure glad I was wrong about Chris choking under the pressure of the final. He only faltered a smidge. but recovered nicely. Absolutely LOVED the way he smoked the battle tree. That was some mighty fine shooting there. Auggie beat himself by missing those last 3 shots to keep Greg in it. Just glad Gregs horseshoe fell out his rear at the end. :D

When Chris was shooting the lever action in the Elimination Challenge before, he really showed that he is never out of it. He just keeps plugging away until Coby yells STOP.

I was really worried when his second shot with the BAR went wide and Greg took the lead...and both of them missing with the crossbow was nerve racking. It was funny watching them both going up and down with the moving jar rack and the SAA

I actually got to watch the final showdown on satellite tv from the Gulf of Mexico on the boat I work on. AWESOME final episode and show down!!!

It was a close finale, unlike last season. Chris took a chance and shot through the smoke that made the final target explode. At least there wasn't any rock throwing :scrutiny: in the finale.

The Henry rifle elimination challenge (earlier episode) was probably the most enjoyable for this season. It was just good ol' fashion loading and shooting with a great firearm. You can see how pressure affected the contestants, and to watch Chris come from behind to beat William was outstanding. For me that event set Chris clearly as a great competitor.

That was GREAT! Didn't get to watch it til midnight and wow, right down to the wire!

Congrats Chris Cheng, showing us how it's done.

Great show! When does season 5 start?

To the producers: what you guys need to do now is take the top four from each of the first 4 seasons and use those as your starting 16. That would make for some great competitions.

Awesome finale and much better than last season's blowout. Was not a fan of Chris' but nice to see him win. Looking back it seems like they had a lot more Chris & Greg interviews than the other contestants each episode. Maybe they put it together intentionally, or maybe those 2 guys just had the best interviews.
I went from being a Greg hater to pulling for him in the end. Yeah, he seems a bit goofy with the dirty bandana and all, but seems like a sincere guy. Or at least that's how he was portrayed by the producers. I didn't catch the behind the scenes show so I could be totally wrong, got it DVR'd.

Although I think that most of us here aren't "Competition" shooters and more of the weekend warriors, i think we always want to see someone like Kelly or Chris win. The underdog always seems to speak to the gun forums and there always seems to be a group waiting on the upset to try and speak to the people on Top Shot who pick the people and show that you don't need to be military/Law Enforcement or a competition shooter to know what you are doing.

That being said, Chris had a little attitude about him that i didn't care about. He wasn't nearly as open to instruction as say Kelly. But he won so maybe he really didn't need the advice? who knows.

It was nice seeing a normal guy win though. So congrats Mr. IT guy on the WIN.
