TR on pronghorns and the 30-30

My .300rum can kill at 300 but most can't kill with it at 300 either. What's your point?

My point is most people call it what it is for them. At the same time using it for medium range hunting is light using a 16 oz hammer to frame a house. You can do it, but it isn't the best tool. A sledge hammer isn't either. If it is all someone has they make it work, if not what is the point?
