Hello,
I wish to know if someone has got a manual to make tracer bullet ? I heard some magnesium must be use.

Thanks for more informations.

Don't even try it!
You'll shoot your eye out!

Pulled .223 & .308 tracers are available from several sources if you really truly want to reload some.

there is a library somewhere with hundreds of pounds of the collective research on the manufacture of tracer munitions.

a paragraph from the interweb will be of little help to you.

Ok thanks for the infos.

About finding .223 tracer in Europe this seems very difficult.

You could contact this company order their,

223 M196 Tracer Jackets (lead in the nose but no tracer compound) Make your own colored tracers. Comes with instructions and formulas for red, green, white, blue and smoke tracer

Maybe "blinded by the light" instead.

Have fun and put the fire out when your done.

Still sounds like a very bad idea to me!

Even if you don't blow yourself up trying to make them, you will not have any tested safe load data to use them for reloading ammo with them.

Probably a good reason for that. There are still probably a few places there that would result in return small-arms fire and an artillery or air strike.

else maybe I can do some test on small pistol caliber like 9mm. Less powder so less risk to be hurt.

You'll probably have to experiment a little to find the right powder. Some may not burn hot enough to light the tracer.
