good morning,
A friend of mine has a High Standard compact crusader 1911 and he wants to trade me his handgun for one of my rifles, now I have a gun I have not shot much at all , it's the infamous rem mod 710 el-cheapo in 270 ( I got it used several years ago in another trade ) .

His 1911 I know is not "top shelf" fodder but I believe it is in the Rock Island family of guns, made in the Philippines in good condition.

So what say ye , good trade or not ?. :uhoh:

Thanks and have a good day....

why not, looks like you do not shoot the rifle anyway maybe you
will get some use/fun from the handgun

Trade into an affordable "not top shelf" compact 1911, for a less expensive "not top shelf" rifle (that you don't really use)?

Sure, absolutely would trade.

I fully regret trading my High Standard Compact Crusader that I had. It ran flawlessly and was very accurate. Armscor makes good guns and backs them up well! Good luck.

Thanks a bunch guys , I had that rem for six no seven years and put less than a box of cartridges down the barrel , loaned it to my son in law for a hunt he was going on in the deer woods, got it back and now it's heading to my buddies house ,,,,,,,,.

Looks like a 45 is heading my way ,,, cos I'm seeing my buddy in the morning to do the deed,,,,.

I will be loading my own, so fun,,fun,,,fun,,

Any tips on this 1911 would be well received,, thx again,,:what:
