A person wants to trade my XD .45 duty w/4mags for his Kimber BP Ten II .45 with 4mags. I shot the Kimber alot better and he shoots the XD alot better. They both have a 13+1 capacity and the only difference is his has night sights (which is a plus for me). Ye or Ne?

Two quality pistols, similar in price. Same caliber, same capacity, same number of mags in the trade. His is the more expensive of the two even without the night sights. You shoot his better, he shoots yours better. if you like the Kimber better, and it's as reliable as your XD then I see no reason not to. That's my opinion, but your opinion is what matters. You've gotta do whats right for you. If you think you're getting a fair trade do what makes you happy.

No, Keep the XD. I've heard, and its internet rumor that the Ten II's have issues with feeding and such. Take that for what it is. I'd stick with the XD on this one.

Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Kimber.

I trust my life with a Kimber Pro Carry II but just passing on what I've heard in the past. Actually, I thought about getting the Ten II back in 03 but decided against it.

A trade is suppose to be a benefit for both parties (ideally) and if you shoot the Kimber better than you do the XD & your buddy visa versa...do it! ;)
