Best made Kimber & a laser sight?????

I was thinking of getting a Kimber 45 ACP I wanted a 10Rd mag with it. What is the best made Kimber with a 10RD made? I had a BP TEN II but a double charged bullet blew it up. The gun felt good and shot good. Are other 10RD Kimbers made better then the BP TEN II was or with a double charge you think it would ruin about any 1911?? Also with a 1911 is their a laser sight you can put on them? Somethinng like what they put on the rail of a Glock of like the laser grips Thanks Chuck

It will ruin most any 1911 with a stainless steel barrel.

There's a laser sight which you can mount inside a 1911. It basically replaces the guide rod. My dad has one for his Glock23 and it is tactically super cool!

Kinda pricey though. A little over $300

EDIT - Their website says they are not compatible with polymer framed guns.

The best Kimber I have is the Tactical Ultra ll, but I've got 4 Kimbers and they have all are first class.

BUT they aren't 10 round.

I've had several lasers that have been a waste of money and time.

Now I have 3 Crimson Trace lasers.
Set them and forget them.

My main use for them is at night.
It doesn't matter, 5 feet or 50 yards, wherever the Red Dot is there will be a hole within an inch or two


At night the gun and shooter are the limiting factor with the CT.
It will light an object a mile, or more away.

Like any other shooting it takes practice to get good with the laser.
