When I needed this info I couldn't find it anywhere, so I thought I'd post my proven dope in case someone else needs it down the road. The numbers are for a 22" sporter barrel (Marlin XS7), temp of 55 degrees, altitude of 300 ASL, and the avg velocity and SWAG BC are in the notes below. I only corrected a couple of the numbers when running the the tables at the range so my BC SWAG was pretty close.

Remember, if you're shooting from a 16" AKM or DPMS you should run your own calcs with the avg velocity, or run the table and adjust the numbers at the range.

Groups were three-shot strings with wind switching from 60 to 90 degrees and gusting from 6 to over 10mph, so we tried to shoot during the lulls. Not bad for cheap ammo in switching winds.

I forgot to mention ... I didn't sort by weight nor OAL. I should have. I might have done a bit better that way.

Got a no wind day and went thru charts for Silver Bear and PMC Bronze (got a bad batch last week but the one shot today were ok). The BCs and avg velocities are listed if you need to run calcs for your temp/altitude. The Silver Bear has been surprisingly accurate, and pretty consistent. In the Marlin it averaging sub MOA at 100 yards and doesn't run off the rails till 400 yards or so. At 600 yards three shots will still go into a pie plate as long as your weapon is up to snuff.

This data was proven today in zero winds, prone with a bipod and lying across a small ruck to provide a bit more support. Each group was an average of three. I had one sub MOA string for each distance till I hit 300 yards. Not bad at all for $7 a box. :)

Thread necro ... found this in a search and it needs seriously fix'n:

I don't remember where I got those numbers, but the data for a medium range shooting day with the modified Marlin XS7 is still in my spreadsheet. After all the work was done I got amazing groups from FGMM ammo. But the numbers above are way off. Here the spreadsheet numbers I have from back then:

100 yards
Federal PowerShok 1"
Silver Bear SP just under 1.5"

200 yards
Federal PowerShok 1.7"
Brown Bear and PMC FMJ 2"
Silver Bear SP 2.5"

300 yards
Silver Bear 4.5"

400 yards
Silver Bear 7.25"

I am still surprised by Silver Bear SP accuracy in some of my Commie rifles. It has shot better than anything else in my Saiga, better than FMJ ammo and better than the SMK handloads I use in my Savage (which are too hot).

But Silver and Brown Bear won't shoot for crap in my Savage FCP, and there is no way I got the groups listed in the original post using the Marlin. I must have read from the wrong table.
