Last night, with wintry winds swirling and temps dropping we finished off the combo league which has provided ten weeks of fun and camaraderie for the ten or twelve groups that participated. We only managed to round up three members to shoot. The others may make it up Sat or Sun.
Me, my older son and one other shot pretty well in poor conditions. 24,23,23 trap, 23,22,20 skeet. I finished my goal of shooting something different each week by using my late brother's TC with the mod trap barrel and a skeet barrel for that. My average for the ten weeks was a hair higher than my summer league average on the trap half...96% vs 94.8%. This was all 16 yard for combo while summer league was half 16, half caps. Fun to play on the skeet range as it is the only time I go there. Skeet average, about 90-91%.
