Summer trap league ended with my team almost taking division two honors. We had one member place second overall for weekly average with 47.5, first being .1 higher. Our guy is 73, and shoots a 45 year old 870TB, the first place guy isn't fifty yet and uses a high end P gun. There were forty teams spread over the four divisions.
Now we are in the fun combo league. One round of trap, one of skeet. I surprised myself by shooting a higher skeet score than trap last week. Very windy and got 23 trap, 24 skeet. No divisions.
Wish we had a sporting clays or five stand to do something different over the winter.
My home club championship is the second week of Oct.
Interclub shootout coming up too.
