Travel to New Mexico

Hey everyone, got a quick question. I am pulling a trailer from Texas to New Mexico for my uncle, spending the night and then coming back. I usually carry my 30-30 loaded between the driver's seat and the middle seat and a 357 in the center console. Can anyone tell me if both or one are legal.

Both are legal in New Mexico, concealed or open carried. You have to have a CHL to conceal carry outside your car.

Your vehicle is an extension of your home in NM. You could have it loaded and in your lap if you really wanted too.

Edit: You also are NOT required to inform LEO if you are pulled over.
