They had a band new one at Gander Mountain. It was on a sale table so I picked it up and tried it. That was one ILL fitting shotgun! I'm not sure how my 220 can fit as well as it does, all-be-it I have lengthened the pull, and that 12 gauge O/U I had to crawl the stock to even get close!

Wow, well, just thought I'd comment on that. If it'd fit well, I might have been tempted. I do like my SxS a lot. It was pretty plain, but had better wood than my SPR220 has, looked a BIT more attractive. I'm still holding out for something like a Browning Cynergy, though. The one thing I don't have is an O/U. I'll get a NICE one some day.

Back when I bought my Lanber. I tried the then, Baikal/EAA distributed version of the 310. I thought the same thing. The Lanber was a no brainer when comparing them side by side.

Mine fits me like a glove, but then again most O/U's dont, i end up looking up the rib at an incline on most brownings. If any of you find it fits go for it, they are built to for heavy use and it shows, but still a nice gun for the money. Mine ran me 350.

I bought a 12ga single barrel for trap. Originally I got it as a loaner for when I took people. But I find I shoot it well and at $200 who cares if it gets dinged up?

Oh, I like my 20 gauge SxS. I installed a recoil pad on it to lengthen it and now it fits pretty well, not perfect, but almost. This O/U, though, dang, I couldn't get down to eye level with the rib without crawling the stock so much that if I'd have fired it with a 3" steel load, it'd have laid my cheek open. No way to make it work. I'd liked to have had it to take duck hunting. Strong gun, cheap if it gets a little banged up or rusty. But, I can't work with it, would have to re-stock it. Nothing wrong with my pump for ducks, I mean, but I like twice pipes. :D I guess I got used to my old Spanish Sarasqueta back in the day. Too, I've never owned an O/U and feel the need.....but not that bad, yet. :D

I put a gracoil sys. on my ighs 127(spartan 310)it shoots very well for those that the gun does not alwys eject shell(s)make sure set screws by hinge are lined up with the forearm tangs, system does collect alot of powder residue . the mod. choke does well out to the 23yd line the full extended truchoke does extremely well at 27yd line . The action will loosen up after about 600 roundsjust keep well lubed with hinge lube.as far as gunsmithing most wont work on it because of it being a russian made arm,and lack of parts.overall its been very good to me it has around 12000 competition rounds through it with no hicups, the gracoil does help with upper barrell recoil ,if used for hunting deer try the ddupleks slugs and imp.cyl they are impressive will dispatch large size game with ease,Irecomend the dupo 28 excellent accuracy to 90 yds w/smoothbore.check there web site for more infowww.DDUPLEKS.com you will also be impressed
