I have a pristine early model SX-1. I'm sure it has the original first generation trigger assembly. This trigger has an allen screw trigger adjustment. I also believe it has the older dual spring set up. Anyway, I have tried to adjust the trigger for some pre-travel but not a lot. The problem is the adjustment wont stay at such. The trigger migrates back to the no pre-travel position to the very rear of the trigger guard. It works but I would like more feel in the trigger pull. Any thoughts?

Oh, btw, this shotgun has only one very light solitary scratch on the left side of the receiver--but other than that it is perfect. It is not the more valued Trap-model with the engraved receiver. I have replaced the recoil pad so that's not original. The VR is a Simmons Trap with a red-fluorescent tube sight done by the renown Simmons Specialties in KC, Mo. I had initially used it for trap but now only occasionally in the field. This gun is heavy but shoots straight(slightly above LOS) a la a trap gun. It used to be my Dad's and he almost never used it since he was a devout Browning A5 and Broadway OU man. If I can figure out how to post some pictures here I will.
