Trigger pull on M1 Super 90 20 ga

Any tricks or suggestions for cleaning up the trigger pull on a Benelli M1 20 ga?

This thing is heavy and not so crisp.

I won't remove metal...but with all the paint in there, I'm wondering if there are known areas that are good to buff or polish.

I took my M1 90 from 8 1/2 to 5 lbs. This I did by polishing all contact surfaces in the trigger assembly with a very fine stone .Do not change angles or round surfaces. Don't buff or use a dremel.
