I'm a bit confused about two of the Canik/TriStar offerings:

They have a C 100 and a T 100 and while I could get the specs for them both (T100 is 7", 15 round mags, 3.95 barrel, and 5" high with the C100 at 7.2" long with shorter barrel at 3.7" and 5" high) I can find anything that compares the two.

Does anyone have any experience with both of them?

Reviews are good for both as far as price/value; they both mimic CZ75 compacts; but after that there isn't too much, so I'm looking for some input.

I could just go for a CZ compact, but I don't really need one but at the lower price point I can see adding a Canik to the safe.

As far as I can tell from the Tristar website the difference between the two is minimal at best. The T100 has a slightly longer frame and overall length (by about 1/10th of an inch at 7.3"), over the C100 (7.2"), and weighs a little more (1.64 lbs to 1.53 lbs.). Both guns have steel slides with aluminum alloy frames, have a DA/SA trigger, use 15 round magazines, and have similar sights and safeties.

Bud's Gun Shop has the T100 for $361 and the C100 for $366.

I have experience with almost all of the CZ clones. They all are basically the same, just size and look.

The C100 and T100 will basically be identical. Get the one that you think looks cooler.

Also consider the Tanfoglio/EAA Witness clones, the Sarsilmaz clones, and the Jericho offspring.

Edit: the C100 is almost a carbon copy of the cz75. So that's a great option.

But if you just want cheap, the SAR B6p compact is the same design with slightly different lines for like $250. Plus it's polymer so it's lighter.

I have had two of these and like them a lot.

The metric conversions are all over the place at different sites. C 100 is about an ounce lighter apparently. Barrels the same. Nice little pistol. Are the polymers really any lighter ? Cheap is good but metal is for real!

We have 2 of their pistols; one full size and one C100. Both have performed without issues although neither has been used as much as my original CZs. I don’t anticipate any problems though.

I bought a C-100. Made the mistake of letting my wife shoot it. We now have 2 C-100s.
