I have my pistol in the console.
I want to carry my AK-47 in the truck under the backseat and don't particularly care for dust boogers all in it. But I also do not wish to make it a effort to get to it in the case of Mr. Hog presenting himself around the ranch here.
I was thinking maybe a pillow case. The AK has a folding stock by the way.
Any ideas or what works for you folks?

A Gun Sock perhaps?
They will stretch over anything, including a folding stock.
You can cut off the excess on the open end if you want.
Would sure work better then an old floppy pillow case I think.

You can tie the closed end to the seat frame and just yank the gun out of it like Matt Dillon!

There is also a seat back gun case that works real well.

You can get a bag for those folding tailgate chairs. They have a draw sting, and will fit for AR15 rifles. Works well and doesn't look a rifle would be in the bag.
