TruGlo red dot

Anyone have any experience with these? I'm searching, trying to figure out the differences, how big the dot is/needs to be, multi reticles. I'm not in the position of spending Eotec, Aimpoint bucks, at the same time, not sure which of the two 'formats' I might prefer. I don't want to waste money on a POS, (then again, who does?), at the same time, spending a little on something, call it R&D money, at least I'll have an idea of how red dots work, if they work for me. I was looking for the MOA size of the 'dot', the TruGlo lists multi reticles, not sure what that means. What size dot is good, I guess this becomes personal. This would go on an AR, basic SHTF type gun.

That's not the first complaint I have seen concerning excessive parallax in TruGlo red dots.

Red Dots should have NO parallax, period, so I would be a little lerry of them myself.

Not saying they are all that way, but the response from the company does't sound very good.
