But they aren't, so your imposition is mostly hypothetical. However, a full third of Americans cannot access concealed carry or the most effective weaponry, right now.

Also, fwiw, both the colonies & early US were supportive of religious blocs between states so long as citizens weren't forced to join or support a side and didn't feud, which why the 1st amendment stipulates the US Congress, and not the states. But obviously that is no longer how we operate today since states have become blurred & weakened.

Paid protesters. I have wondered how I can get in on that. Seems like an easy way to get some laughs, and put some money in my pocket to put towards some new firearms. And have all the guns engraved with "Paid for by George Soros".....liberal.

I really do hope he turns out to be a good Justice. Hopefully we get at least one or two more good ones on there. The Republicans (really hate that word) should use every option at there disposal to ensure they get the youngest, purely constitutionalist Justices they can, and not pussyfoot around and worry about hurting the Dem's feelings. We NEED a SCOTUS that can keep both the Dems and the Repubs in check without legislating from the bench.

I at least hope that by now, the pro-2A peeps have finally figured out which political party supports their cause.

Unlike all the blue collar union types who followed the party bosses edict and voted Obummer into office, believing his promise that he wasn't going to take away anyone's guns. The only reason that he didn't take away everyone's guns was because the Republican congress stonewalled him hard core. And they paid a big political price for that, as the media blasts them as the do nothing obstructionist party. But IMHO, that's exactly what was needed to suppress the potential landslide.

Now the shoe is on the other foot, but they don't have the votes.
