It is a very good design for general pistol shooting. In most cases it feeds as well round nosed bullets and the flat nose delivers good transfer to steel targets. In addition, the bevel base allows a good start in the seating process and, since the bore/bullet interface is not the bottom of the bullet, it gives a "clean" departure from the bore allowing better accuracy.
It is what I use for IPSC and IDPA in my 45, 40, and 9mm. I use the Lee six cavity molds to cast my bullets.
