Tryin to find info regarding states OC and CCW laws

Hey folks, new member here, from Louisiana.

I was unable to find info on the OC and CCW laws for Louisiana, can someone point me in the right direction? Also where I can find info on if I need paperwork for owning a handgun or long gun. (I own a .45, bought it while I was enlisted and stationed in Arkansas, livin in La. now)

Why not just contact a local gun shop or state firearms organization?

Looks like that is what I am gonna be doin tomorrow, just figured it was late late at night, and the quistion has been burinin on me all day.

(I really got back into the 2A argument again after taking a few years off after getting irritated with lack of action here in La after all the school shooting both around the country and this state..I think we have had more school shootings in the last 2 months than any other single state in the country...they just where not considered "mass shootings")

I still need to get my CCW, never did get on in Ar either, for when I get my .45 fixed and plan on workin on petitions to our new gov (republican thank God) and state gov't congressmen/women sen. etc. to work on allowing CCW on campus
