Over the years I've experimented with different reactive targets, most were geared for .22 rim fire. Have gotten by with mild steel to some extent, needed something a little tougher for the bigger calibers. Made a falling silhouette, swinger, and clay target last year. For this season picked up some AR500 plates but needed a way to hang them, didn't care for the chain method.
Don't know how this is going to work, suspended using baler belting suspended from steel framework. Baler belt is cheap should absorb errant rounds, can be replace easily. Hope to use steel "T" posts for the supports. Tapped a couple holes for bolts to lock the framework to the posts. Can store upper assembly and leave the posts in the ground for another day. We'll see how it works.
