Trying to duplicate Buffalo Bore .44 mag load.

Has anyone made a similar load that Buffalo Bore makes with its .44 Mag +P+ 340 gr. LFN? I just bought some on-line for $37.00 a box of 20. I realize it would probably be bad for any .44 mag to give a steady diet of this stuff but I sure would like to make my own and save a bunch of money in the process.

The April 2010 issue of Handloader magazine has an article on +P 44 Mag loads. They only recommend them in the Ruger Redhawk. They have 19 loads for the 340 grain Rim Rock LWN-GC.

Yes, that is an excellent article in Handloader.

I've actually been using them (developed on my own) for years in my Ruger Redhawk.

I doubt I'd use them in a lighter gun......the Redhawk is built like a tank.
