I am trying to find a Springfield 1911 GI Hi-Cap. Or another model, but as far as I can tell the only hi-cap they have is the GI, and I do want hi-cap.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these? New or used, whichever. Nothing on gunbroker right now.

here's Rob Leatham's USPSA Limited gun (Hi-cap .40)

To be more specific, looking for a double stack. Capacity 10-13 rounds is good.

Quack how much are they asking?

don't know, but for some reason i'd like to say $749.

i might be headed out that way this weekend, i'll look if i do.

I have one of the older double stack .45's from springfield and i love it! Its one of my favorite guns.

BDS where did you find that STI? I searched gun broker and couldn't find it.

And thanks for the link to the springfield. That was my plan, was to build up the springfield, but I'd have to do less work on that sti

Well, to be honest I don't really like the boxy look of most of the STI guns. That's why I had interest in the one pictured there. Much more my style. I'm guessing it's an older model spartan?

EDIT: never mind I'm retarded. I now see both pictured are springfields.
