TSRA and the Brady Campaign nonsense

doubleought 7: Who are these TSRA members and why do they seem to believe that cops always follow the rules? Is it true as someone posted that some TSRA board members are also on the Board of Handgun Control(Sarah Brady's wackos) This ought to be a Yes or No question no waffling.

TSRA is the Texas State Rifle Association.

We don't always believe that cops ALWAYS follow the rules. Because those that don't follow the rules either aren't cops for very long or they themselves go to jail.

Where exactly did you see a post that some TSRA board members are on the board of the Brady Campaign? "Cause this has to be one of the silliest (if not the dumbest) comments I've seen posted on any gun forum. This is analogous to having David Duke on the board of the NAACP.

TSRA does a fantastic job of protecting and promoting gun rights of Texans. By posting this question (or more accurately an accusation) you attempt to discredit a fine organization and it's members. If you would spend two minutes Googling TSRA and reading on their website you would have known this. Shame on you.

So........no waffling on this........NO.

And, if anyone actually thinks he has a clue here's the real info.

He's confused (intentionally I suspect) the TSRA with the AHSA whose board members are all known contributors to Brady and formerly HCI.

AHSA is a well known anti gun group pretending to be pro gun. Most of their board is connected in some fashion to either HCI or Brady.

Their connection to anti gun groups has been well documented.

Some folks are always ready to believe the worst, and appear eager to pass along some sort of "I heard..." misinformation.

I doubt that any of the Brady Bunch would let a TSRA member into the same room with them, much less be on their board.
