He is a gun owner
A few years ago a rabid Antifa crowd attacked Carlson's doxed home in the DC suburbs while he was at the office. As they yelled, threatened, banged on the front door, and vandalized the property, his wife reportedly retreated to a bathroom with a firearm. Fortunately there was no break-in, and no guns used. Later reports were that the family moved to a new home shortly after the event.

Well it is a nice "Rah Rah Rah for our side" sort of argument, but unless Hickok45 has said something so amazing to convince the opposition, then he hasn't crushed anything. Carlson's promotion of the 'crush' is nothing but cheerleading.

When did the other team's cheerleaders convince you to change the team you support?

^^^This. While I have the utmost respect for Hickok45 and his knowledge of firearms, not even Tucker Carlson's stoutest fans or his employer, Fox News, believes anything that comes out of his mouth. They actually advise against it as shown in the successful legal defense used against accusations of slander.

From the Judge in that case......

Now comes the claim that you can't expect to literally believe the words that come out of Carlson's mouth. And that assertion is not coming from Carlson's critics. It's being made by a federal judge in the Southern District of New York and by Fox News's own lawyers in defending Carlson against accusations of slander. It worked, by the way.

Just read U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion, leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers: The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

She wrote: "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."

His reputation precedes him.

Guns are, always have been since their invent, and always will be, weapons of war. Just how it is. It is war and trying to keep peace, that has led to the development of most modern firearms and their calibers, today. That does not mean they are not safe or not appropriate for the average law abiding citizen.

I think we had enough. Discussing the characteristics of Tucker is not really our thing.
