On February 9th, I ordered a Tucker HF1, belt, and magazine holder for my 1911.

Just over 5 weeks later, this arrived by USPS Priority Mail.

The quality and fit is excellent. The holster rides high and tight. Still fast, but it easily disappears on my hip. I really like the looks as well.

Rob Longenecker was great to deal with and Tucker does nice leather work.

He sure is! I have a Texas Heritage IWB for my USP 45C. Wonderful holster.

I also have a couple of Tuckers. The fit and finish is great on both of them and Rob is a great guy to deal with. I have been on other boards where the general opinion is if you don't own a holster from one of the "premier" holster makers you should not carry a weapon, that may be fine for folks that have money to burn but I think that Tucker makes an excellent holster and it is also an excellent value.

I'm not of the opinion that your carry holsters need to be from a "brand" name, but I also believe that if this is a carry/self defense use, buy the very best you can afford. The moment you need it, it will pay for itself many times over.

Thanks for the compliments. I really am happy with it. I'll get to get another for my Hi-Power. :)
