So I ordered a full CCW rig from Tucker Gunleather about a week or so before Thanksgiving, Rob Longenecker told me to expect about 3 weeks for the holster and mag carrier and a little longer for the belt. To my surprise all of it was waiting for me the Saturday after thanksgiving! I think it was maybe a week and half for it to show up, great service especially since I was expecting a delay!

The holster is the Texas Heritage model that they have, it's an IWB tuckable supported by two "J" style clips. I ordered it with the rough side out, and it came that way with it nicely molded to a 1911 form. When worn it sits nicely on my right hip low enough that it won't dig in to the fat on my side. The sweat shield on the left helps with that too, it also has the added benefit of protecting the safety so it can't easily get switched off. Tucking it in is a little awkward at first but once it's in you can't tell it's there unless you're the one wearing it.

The mag carrier is also a tuckable IWB with the same type of clip as the holster. This ones a little different then the holster in that since it's a little smaller area it digs in to my side. Not too much but just enough that I know it's there.

The belt is THICK, at least three times as thick as my previous belt from a department store. It's fun trying to get it through all your belt loops at first but it's doable. It nicely supports both the holster and the mag carrier. One thing to remember is when you send in your belt length is to add a couple of inches for the holster and mag pouch. I forgot to do this and with the holster and pouch on it does quite fit in the middle hole like it's supposed to. Incentive for me to lose weight I guess ;) .

All in all it's a great setup and if you're looking for a complete new rig or just a holster or belt check out Tucker Gunleather at www.tuckergunleather.com I'll get some photos up when I can.

Congratulations on your new setup. I carry a SIG P228 in a Texas Heritage. Very comfortable and secure holster. I am quite pleased.

I use the same holster. I have one for a 1911, one for a revo. Best I've found, especially in a tuckable. The wide spaced clips keep it secure and allow the shirt to be pulled down far enough to not look wadded. I found that the J-hook (I use one of each) was not sized to fit a thick belt so I just reworked it in my oven.
