Just wondering if anyone is going to the Tulsa show, next weekend?I've been going for 25 years or so,only missing a few.Its usually a good show. Lightman

I am going. Will be my 2nd time as I went about 8 years ago. Think I went to the October edition last time. I recall it was huge and sprawling. All I bought was a set of S&W stocks.

I'm in Little Rock so I guess I'll start out about a half hour ahead of you.

I'm going. I go at least once, generally spring, every year. I have bought something every time I've been there. There seems to be a good supply of older Winchester .22s at that show and I have a very weak will.

I usually meet several internet friends there and go to dinner with them in the evening. I think this year I get to meet and eat with another distinguished gentleman.;) I'm looking forward to it.

I am going for the first time. My pockets will be stuffed with cash and I have several copies from my local FFL. I am ready. I also have a good friend that lives in Tulsa that I have not seen in several years so he will be my guide.

I live here in Tulsa and stopped going some time ago. Too crowded. Dealers who bought at the peak and are trying to trade on 2008 prices. Stroller nazis who think that because they have a kid they're entitled to more space in the already crowded isles. Groups of men congregating in the middle of the isle and resent anyone trying to pass.

Come to think of it, I might go after all.

Come on down to our shows for variety. They might have 300-400 tables, and includes some jerky, a bit of home remodeling brochures, and nice backpacks/camo floppy hats from FayetteNam, NC.

You can probably find one or maybe two Russian SKS rifles and a couple of Enfields which are almost always screwed-up...ehh, excuse my lack of 'political correctness'..."sporterized (sights hacked off etc)".

Until my shift change at work, I NEVER missed the big gun show in Tulsa. Haven't been in 2 years. My first purchase was a Mossberg 590 8-shot 12 gauge. Bought from a private dealer, and he threw in the pistol grip mod as well. cost me $125 out the door. I don't always find what I want, but I rarely ever left empty-handed. LOL. Always on the lookout for extra ammo, deals on mags, or another knife (or two) I also bring the wife, (who has lately started telling me that we need more ammo...Did I pick the right woman, or what?) There is enough variety to satisfy almost anyone. Almost like an indoor swap meet for gun folks! I just enjoy being around people with the same mindset as I have, without having to explain WHY I'm there. Some of the prices are a bit much, but if I wait until close to closing, I've noticed some will bargain with you. I'm thinking they don't want to pack all that stuff up to lug back home....LOL

When we lived in Bixby and belonged to Red Castle Gun Club we used to always go and help at the club booth. Got free admission and a spot to stash your purchases...:D We were also on the local FNRA committee and Joe was one of the members as well so he'd pass out tickets as well.

Sure wish I could drive down and see the show... have fun and have a burger at Goldies for me.

I was there about 68 years ago. I got a very nice leather concealed carry purse. Payed alot for it and it is still great all these years later. I also went by the BATFE table and got a large stack of their Federal Law books. I did it just to see if they were human!! I want to go again.

Well, I went

I went to the gun show. Nothing jumped out at me. Picked up a couple spare 20 round Mag Puls for the .223. Got a good deal on a synthetic stock for my Model 70. Walked around until I lost the wife. Hehe. she didn't have her cell phone with her. Bet THAT won't happen again.
