I was watching NCIS on and off today while playing on the message boards and doing laundry, etc etc, so I didn't see the whole show BUT....
In the scene when the chase/tracking was getting close to the badguy, the old marine guy didn't give his shotgun the old kachunk, but instead slid the pump back far enough to get a visual on the shell then rechambered it.
Now, I must point out a few problems with this show. First off, teh main guy is supposedly an ex sniper (seems like everyone these days is, even the old guy who travels across wisconson on his riding lawn mower in some hallmark special was a sniper in WW2) yet when tracking a guy who disappears in the woods who is known to be armed with a rifle himself, he grabs a shotgun?
But my main concern in this show is how often this special team is above the US constitution, it is just plain okay for them to pick a lock and investigage without warrent or cause, hold without lawyer, torture, etc etc etc. Really bugs me that for this show, us john q citizens are really john q subjects.
