Twist Rate on Ruger m77

Anyone know the twist rate on the Ruger m77 .270 is (NOT the Mark 2, but the original)? I'm trying to match a good bullet to her.

Thought it was 1/9.25. The newer M77's say 1/10 RH though.

Sounds like you have the M77 in question. If so, you can easily determine the answer for yourself with your cleaning rod and a tight patch.

It should be 1/10" for #1 and M77

From what I've found, is there ANY bullet weight a 1:10 wouldn't stabolize? If it is 9.25 as indicated by another poster, what are the limitations in bullet weight there?

I always forget how it works with bullet weight. Heavier/Longer = Faster Twist, or vise versa?
