One's a Colt, the other a Caspian.

The Colt began life with me as a slightly used blued, stock factory Delta.

After a complete pistol tightening, 30 LPI frontstrap, Heinie straight eight night sights, Heinie mag well, short adjustable trigger, STI spur hammer, EGW pin stop, 18.5 variable recoil spring with a FLGR, 25# mainspring, AFTEC extractor, Ambi carry safety, beavertail, match bushing, crowned barrel, brush hardcrome refinish, and a Delta medallion transplant to the new grips, here's what I ended up with:

I shoots and functions flawlessly with the trigger breaking at a crisp 4.5#. Work done by The Action Works and worth every penny.

The Caspian was purchased piece by piece and was also done by Mr. Williams of The Action Works.

It's main features are a 5" Damascus steel slide with a 10mm Ultimatch bull barrel (also fitted a .40 but doubtful it will see much use ;) ). It has a diamond ghost ring sight which takes some getting used to but works pretty well when you do. Trigger came out a little light for me but I think I'll pop a heavier mainspring in it and that orta do it. The custom serial number bears my sons initials.

The Caspian's very purty but the Colt just freaking rocks!! (Wait, did I just say something nice about a Colt? Call Ripley's!)

Beautiful pistols.

I've been interested in what the STI spur hammer looked like on a pistol.

You've got to tell us how they shoot.
