Two from Larry Mensch

    This set, a Bowie and companion Utility, were made by long time Pennsylvania knifemaker Larry Mensch. The blades are highly polished 440C while the handles are Spalted Maple.

    Whats the spacer? Malachite?

    Gorgeous work.

    You going to use them or just drool on them? Either way, they'll require some maintenance. Drool causes corrosion.

    They are most defintely users and really work well. The spacer is a polymer material that Larry makes himself and molds, then grinds.

    Good for you.

    They're beautiful, but I'd use 'em too. I own a lot of knives, but none of them are to look at.
