walked into two rifles today,a ruger number one in .218 bee in ex condition and a smith&wesson 1500 in .223 with a heavy barrel in ex condition, they had a heavy coat of fine dust on then, i cleaned it off and put howards feed and wax on the wood(cleaned the bores too). i,ll have to make time to shoot them. eastbank.

Some will say the S&W suck's because it is made in Japan, other's will say the .218 Bee is obsolete.

But the fact of the matter is, you scored a couple of great, and slightly different thing's.

Congrats on the two nice aquisitions! Always like the lines of the Ruger No.1 and the .218Bee caliber certainly makes it rather unique. Hope the S&W 1500 with the bull barrel is a tack driver for you.

The Ruger looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition, I'd suggest investigating the collector value before you get too attached to it. .218 Bee has got to be a very scarce chambering, and you may find someone who just has to make you an offer you can't refuse.

if i where you, i would sell that ungodly 218 bee...i just happen to know who and where to sell it to? i'll give you his address

please send it to me:D

thats real nice, good for you:p

there nuthin like a single shot ;)
