These guys are going to see lots of guns throughout thier lives. I could start buying them some now!! What do ya think .22 or BB first. Pistol revolver or rifle? I favor a bolt .22. If I start now they will have a very large arsonal before they are old enough to start to shoot.

First off, congratulations.

As to your question, you should definitely start accumulating that arsenal for them now. And naturally as a responsible parent you'll be obligated to test them all out ahead of time. You know, for safety reasons and all. I suspect they'll need years and years of testing before you'll be satisfied that they're safe enough for your children.
