Okay I was asking because on the front strap (terminology) it looked like stipling (again on terminology).

No, that is just "skate" tape, gives you a superb grip

That is the only Vortak I have seen outside the old advertisements.
What can you say about the shooting qualities?
Is it reliable, is it soft, is it accurate, etc.?
The NCG GG never delivered on its claims, I figure Fred did better to make it a paying customer's favorite.
